Why do we need a Stem Cell Charter?

A new article in Regenerative Medicine by Charter lead author Bartha Maria Knoppers, Rosario Isasi and Lisa Willemse outlines the development of the Stem Cell Charter within the context of other major bioethical guidelines around the world.

Ottawa MS Trial is transforming lives Recently, the Ottawa MS Society held a compelling session called “Stem Cell Transplant—Separating Myth from Reality”. In fact, this was the second session they ran because the interest in the topic was so high. The MS Society brought together Dr. Harold Atkins, Marjorie Bowman (research manager for the Ottawa trials), and Sue-Anne Lecompte, one of the trial participants.
